Useful links and essential info for new Bromcom users

New to Bromcom this September? 

We know that using a new MIS for the first time can seem really overwhelming, particularly if you were using your previous system for many years. To help you get up and running with Bromcom, we compiled this list of handy links and key information on how to access Bromcom support and find guidance for using the MIS. This is guide is also helpful for existing users that want to refresh their knowledge of Bromcom.  

 

Bromcom MIS Login 

Click here to log in to the MIS – you can also log in to any of our products by clicking the link in the top right corner of our website. If you have any problems logging in, contact the Bromcom System Administrator at your school. 

 

Training 

All our online training courses and shared webinars are free to access, so you can become the most sought after Bromcom expert in your school!  

We offer a wide range of courses on our training website so whether you like a pre-recorded course with short quizzes to test your knowledge, or would rather watch a live webinar where you can ask our trainers questions, you’ll find something that works for you. The website’s super easy to navigate, too, and we have course bundles so you can quickly find the training you need.

Documents and online guides 

Our Help Centre, also known as ‘the docs centre’, is full of step-by-step written and video guides about using the MIS and our other products. There’s even a section for parents on how to use the MyChildAtSchool app, and a section for students on using the Student app.

The Help Desk 

Get support through Bromcom? 

Should you experience any technical difficulties or the MIS behaves in a way you didn’t expect, contact the Help Desk on 020 8290 7177 or raise a support ticket/case online by clicking here 

You can also find known issues and navigate to the BromCommunity and the Help Centre from this website. 

 

Get support through a support provider? 

Please familiarise yourself with what you need to do when you need assistance as they will provide all your first and secondline support. Likewise, if anything needs escalating, the third-party support team will do this on your behalf. 

 

The BromCommunity 

Our online forum for users, the BromCommunity, is a space where users can share best practice and advice on using our products, and asking other users questions. We regularly host drop-in support sessions on there, too. We now have over 10,000 active members on the BromCommunity, so there’s always plenty of people willing to help.

The Ideas Portal 

If you have any ideas for how we can improve our products, you can submit them to our Ideas Portal where other users can vote on them. Ideas that get more than 50 votes are considered for implementation.
