Each year, Multi Academy Trusts and Local Authorities around the country fall under immense pressure to reduce costs. While, on the other side of the coin, more and more MATs/LAs are coming into existence and are also looking to get the most bang for their buck.
That’s where our TCO Calculator comes in. We saw a gap in the market for a product that provides accurate costs and estimates for large scale MIS services. In October 2022, we released our TCO Calculator and have never looked back.
Our TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Calculator is a tool that helps schools, MATs and LAs estimate the total cost of implementing Bromcom MIS. It takes into account various factors such as the number of users, modules required, and hosting options, to provide an accurate total cost of ownership over a specified time period. The TCO Calculator can help schools budget and plan for the implementation of Bromcom MIS more effectively, by removing hidden costs and considering many factors.
What are the benefits?
- Accurate cost estimation: The calculator takes into account various factors that impact the total cost of ownership, resulting in a more accurate estimate.
- Better planning: By providing a clear estimate of the total cost of ownership over a specified period, schools can better plan their budgeting and allocate resources accordingly.
- Customizable options: Users can select the modules they require and choose between on-premise or cloud hosting options. This further helps tailor the estimate to the school’s specific needs.
- Making decisions: The calculator can help schools make informed decisions about whether the implementation of Bromcom MIS is financially feasible for them.
- Saving time: Rather than manually calculating the total cost of ownership, the tool provides an automated and simplified process, saving time for the school’s administrative team.
How does it work?
The TCO Calculator works by analysing school information, such as the number of students, teachers and the number of years you plan to use Bromcom MIS. You can then select the modules you require, such as Assessment, Curriculum or MCAS, and enter any additional costs, such as hardware or installation fees.
The calculator then generates an estimated total cost of ownership, combining all the costs involved in implementing and maintaining your chosen Bromcom system. This estimated cost includes the initial setup and installation fees, the annual licensing costs, and any additional expenses associated with the system, such as training or support fees.
This tool can be extremely helpful for schools and educational institutions trying to budget and plan for their educational technology expenses. By providing a clear estimate of the costs involved, schools can make informed decisions when selecting and implementing a new school management system.
